The 2009-10 Viewpoint Player of the Year race was fought out amongst 161 gamers. Gamers who participated in Viewpoint tournaments throughout 2009 and 2010 received points based on their placings in each tournament. The gamer who accumulated the most points from the tournaments leading up to and including the Viewpoint World Championships that was held on 5 December 2010 was crowned the 2009-10 Viewpoint Player of the Year. Several other awards were also up for grabs during 2009-10.

The 2009-10 Viewpoint Player of the Year race was fought out amongst 83 gamers. Gamers who participated in Viewpoint tournaments throughout 2011 and 2012 received points based on their placings in each tournament. The gamer who accumulated the most points from the tournaments leading up to and including the Viewpoint World Championships was crowned the 2011-12 Viewpoint Player of the Year. Several other awards were also up for grabs during 2011-12, including State and National Championships and the revered Viewpoint State of Origin between New South Wales and Queensland.

The 2014 Viewpoint Championships were held at the Toy and Game Expo where the reigning World Champion Lindsay Heming from The Games Cube defeated 22 others competitors to claim his first double crown - Viewpoint Champion 2014 and Viewpoint Reflections Champion 2014.

The 2016 Viewpoint Championships were held at Looking for Gamers in Sydney, Australia. The final table pitted Khairul Hamdan, Damien Porter, Matthew Wills and Jacob Wills against each other with Matthew causing an upset win over more experienced opponents.
